Membership

Members are the core of our group and contribute socially, financially,
and organizationally to its success. Without you, contra dancing in
Toronto could not succeed.
Membership has its Privileges
The most important is recognition. When you wear your membership button, it not only lets people know your name, it tells them you are a committed dancer, someone who can be relied on for encouragement and assistance. As well, members get a discount on every dance, one free guest pass, and a 10% discount on regular-priced items at Malabar's.
We hope our members will take their commitment beyond just coming to many dances by helping to build the group:
- introducing others to the pleasures of contra dancing,
- representing the Toronto Country Dancers positively to our hosts and the community,
- extending their support of the group.
