Take the subway to the Chester station. Walk south to Danforth, and then west to Jackman.
Driving
From the U.S.A.
Take the QEW eastbound to Toronto where it turns into the Gardiner Expressway. After the Yonge/Bay and Jarvis exits, stay in one of the left hand lanes to exit onto the Don Valley Parkway north. Exit the Don Vally at Bloor St. (first exit but a fair way up the Don Valley). Follow the instructions below to the church.
From the west on Hwy 401:
Take Hwy 401 eastbound to Hwy 427 South. Go to the end where you exit on the left to the QEW east. This becomes the the Gardiner Expressway. After the Yonge/Bay and Jarvis exits, stay in one of the left hand lanes to exit onto the Don Valley Parkway north. Exit the Don Vally at Bloor St. (first exit but a fair way up the Don Valley). Follow the instructions below to the church.
From the east on Hwy 401:
Take Hwy 401 westbound to the Don Valley Parkway. Go south on the Don Valley Parkway. Exit at Bloor St. and follow the instructions below to the church.
To Eastminster United Church from the Don Valley Parkway:
Follow Bloor St. eastbound. (Bloor St. almost immediately becomes Danforth Avenue when it crosses the Don Valley.) Follow the Danforth to Jackman Avenue. The church is on the north west corner of Jackman Ave & Danforth Avenue. (The Carrot Common is on the north east corner.)
Parking
Street parking is available on the Danforth, and on residential streets nearby.
There are multiple municipal parking lots east of Broadview, on the north side of the Danforth. Look for the large green P's with arrow, indicating direction. The closest ones are on the east side of Broadview and on the west side of Arundel Ave. This is a popular district, so be prepared to park a few blocks away.
